Выводится в крошечных количествах в грудное молоко. Уровни сыворотки грудных детей, матери которых находятся на Сертралине, обычно не обнаруживаются или очень низки. Не наблюдается никакого вреда для здоровья и краткосрочного или долгосрочного развития младенцев.

Наблюдались переходные проблемы в раннем неонатальном периоде, такие как синдром отмены наркотиков среди новорожденных или недоношенных детей с высоким уровнем сыворотки в результате лечения сертралином у матери во время беременности.

Сертралин вызывает меньше проблем, связанных с галактореей, чем другие антидепрессанты.

Это, вероятно, самый безопасный антидепрессант при грудном вскармливании.

Матери, которых лечат антидепрессантами, нуждаются в более сильной поддержке для более высокого риска раннего кормления грудью.
