Is Alpha-Galactosidase compatible with breastfeeding? Do we have alternatives for Alpha-Galactosidase?

Alpha-Galactosidase

December 19, 2013 (Very Low Risk)

Enzymatic protein for sustitutive therapy of Fabry’s disease.

Also orally used as anti-flatulent.

Its high molecular weight and protein structure make excretion into breast milk or oral absorption by the infant unlikely.

Alternatives

We do not have alternatives for Alpha-Galactosidase since it is relatively safe.
