Amisulpride
It concentrates in the breast milk with an excretion that could be significant. However, side-effects on breastfed infants from treated mothers have not been observed. Probably because a low oral bioavailability, serum levels found in such infants have been also low.
Like other benzamide-based substances, it may increase serum levels of Prolactin and induce galactorrhea,
Until more data on this drug is available, a safer alternative should be chosen mostly during neonatal period and with prematurity.
