Rifaximin
Antibiotic derived from rifamycin, non-aboribible, used orally to treat certain diarrheas and intestinal conditions.
At the date of last update, we did not find data published in relation to breastfeeding, but its almost absolute lack of intestinal absorption (<1%) and its high molecular weight make it very unlikely to be transferred to milk. On the other hand, its possible side effects are mild and almost limited to abdominal discomfort.
