Is Urofollitropin compatible with breastfeeding? Do we have alternatives for Urofollitropin?
Urofollitropin
November 17, 2013 (Low Risk)
Low risk. It is not secreted into breast milk because of a large molecular weight. It is readily destroyed by the child’s stomach acid milieu. It has an estrogenic effect. Theoretically, it may decrease breast milk production. Take into account the known anovulatory effect of breastfeeding. However, by taking this drug the opposite effect is desired.
